These terms explain the rules for using Tycoon Hub, what you can expect from me, and what I expect from you.
1. About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and me, Mr Mogo ("I", "me", "my"). I run the Tycoon Hub app and website at tycoonhub.net. By creating an account or using the app or website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Tycoon Hub.
My Privacy Policy explains how I handle your personal information.
2. Not affiliated with Monopoly GO
Tycoon Hub is an independent fan app. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Scopely, Inc., Hasbro or anyone connected with Monopoly GO. When you use Monopoly GO you are still bound by Scopely's own terms, and it is your responsibility to follow them.
3. Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use Tycoon Hub. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
The information you give me must be accurate, and your username must not impersonate anyone or be offensive.
You are responsible for everything that happens on your account, so keep your password safe.
One account per person. Accounts cannot be sold, transferred or shared.
You use the same account in the app and on tycoonhub.net.
You can delete your account at any time in the app under Profile, Edit Profile.
4. Community rules
To keep Tycoon Hub safe and friendly, you must not:
harass, bully, threaten or abuse anyone, or post hateful, sexual or violent content
scam, mislead or defraud other players, including taking payment or stickers without delivering what was agreed
ask for or share Monopoly GO login details, or buy, sell or trade game accounts
impersonate staff, another player or any company
spam, advertise outside the Services area, or send unwanted messages
use bots, scripts, cheats or anything that interferes with the app, the website or other players
share, sell or misuse codes, or try to get more than one use of a code
try to get around a suspension, ban or any limit I set
break the law or help anyone else to
If you see someone breaking these rules, please report them from their profile.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of anything you post, such as your profile, photo, messages, listings and reviews. You give me a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and share that content within Tycoon Hub so the app can work. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other users already hold, such as messages in their chats.
You must have the right to post everything you share, and it must follow these terms. I can remove content that breaks them.
6. Trading and gifts
Sticker trades and gifts happen inside Monopoly GO, not in Tycoon Hub. The app only helps you find trades, log gifts and keep your album up to date. I cannot see, confirm or reverse anything sent in the game, and I am not responsible if another player does not send their side of a trade. Only mark a trade or gift as sent once you have actually sent it.
7. Screenshot imports
You can import stickers by choosing screenshots of your Monopoly GO album. Free members can import 3 screenshots a day, which resets at midnight UK time. Tycoon+ members can import as many as they like.
Only screenshots that scan successfully count towards your daily limit.
Scanning is automatic and can make mistakes. Always check the result before you tap Import, and correct anything that is wrong in your album.
8. Services
The Services area lets sellers offer services to other players, such as partner event help or race support.
Sellers
You need a Seller subscription to list services. The price is shown before you pay. I can refuse or remove Seller status where these terms are broken.
You are an independent seller, not my employee or agent. You are responsible for delivering what you advertise, for your prices, and for any tax you owe on your earnings.
Descriptions must be accurate. You must not ask buyers for their Monopoly GO login details.
I can remove listings, remove Seller status, or restrict your account if you break these terms or receive repeated complaints.
Buyers
Your agreement for a service is with the seller, not with me.
Some services may break Monopoly GO's terms. Using them is your decision and at your own risk.
If something goes wrong, report the order from My orders. I will review it, but I cannot guarantee any outcome.
Tycoon Hub is not responsible for account bans, lost progress, missed payments, scams or any loss that results from a service or trade arranged through the app.
Payments
Tycoon Hub does not take payments for services or take a cut of sales. Buyers and sellers agree how a service is paid for between themselves, and sticker payments are sent in the game. Be careful, never share your Monopoly GO login, and report anything suspicious.
Featured listings
Sellers can pay a one-off fee, shown before you pay, to feature a service at the top of Services for 7 days. Only a limited number of services can be featured at once, so paid requests join a queue and the 7 days start when a slot is free. Once featuring has started it cannot be refunded. I can end featured placement for any listing that breaks these terms, in which case I will refund the unused days.
9. Giveaways
Giveaways are always free to enter. No purchase or payment is needed, and paying does not improve your chances.
Only players with the Giveaway Host badge can run giveaways. Hosts are responsible for describing the prize accurately and delivering it to the winner.
Winners are picked at random by my server when the giveaway ends. Every valid entry has an equal chance.
Every giveaway is open to everyone with a Tycoon Hub account.
One entry per person. Entries using multiple accounts will be removed.
I can cancel a giveaway, remove entries or disqualify a winner if these terms are broken. Tycoon Hub does not supply prizes and is not responsible if a host fails to deliver one, but please report it and I will take action against the host.
10. Subscriptions and payments
Tycoon+ and Seller are optional monthly subscriptions. Tycoon+ removes ads and unlocks extra features and higher limits. Seller lets you list services. The current prices and what each includes are shown on tycoonhub.net before you subscribe.
Paying on tycoonhub.net
You subscribe on tycoonhub.net while signed in to your Tycoon Hub account. Payments are processed by PayPal, and you can pay with a PayPal account or a debit or credit card without one. Your perks switch on in the app once the payment is confirmed.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel.
If a renewal payment fails, your perks switch off until it is paid.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time on tycoonhub.net under your account, or in the app on the Tycoon+ or Seller screen. This works whether you paid with PayPal or by card. If you have a PayPal account, you can also cancel in PayPal.
After you cancel you will not be charged again, and you keep your perks until the end of the month you have paid for.
For refunds or payment problems, contact me at [email protected]. Your rights under PayPal's own policies also apply.
Codes
Gift codes give you Tycoon+ or Seller for a set number of days. They are free, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged or refunded, and switch off automatically when the days run out. Each account can use a code once, and a gift code cannot be used while you already have that subscription through a payment.
Discount codes take money off your first payment only. After that you pay the normal monthly price shown at checkout. Only one discount code can be used per subscription.
Codes may have an expiry date or a limited number of uses, and I can switch off a code at any time, for example if it has been shared publicly when it was meant for one person.
Paying through Google Play
If the app becomes available on Google Play and you subscribe there, Google takes the payment, renewals and cancellations are managed in Google Play, and refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.
Your cancellation rights
Because subscriptions and featured listings start straight away, you agree at checkout that they begin immediately and that you lose your statutory 14-day right to cancel once they have started. This does not affect your other rights as a consumer, or your right to cancel future payments at any time.
Changes
If I change a price, I will tell you in advance and it will apply from your next renewal. You can cancel before then.
I may change or add features over time. If a change significantly reduces what you receive, you can cancel before your next renewal.
11. Downloading and updating the app
While Tycoon Hub is not on Google Play, it is available from tycoonhub.net. Only download it from there, as copies from anywhere else may have been tampered with. I am not responsible for any version of the app downloaded from another source.
When a new version is released, the app will tell you. Some updates are required, for example to fix a security problem or keep features working, and you will need to install them to keep using the app.
12. Daily links
Daily dice and reward links are collected from public sources and the MoGo community and shared for convenience. Only official Monopoly GO links are shared. Rewards are provided by Scopely, not by me. I cannot guarantee that a link will work, what it will give, or how long it will last.
13. Moderation and account action
If you break these terms, I may take action proportionate to what happened, including removing content, giving a warning, muting you, suspending you for a set time, removing badges or Seller status, or permanently banning your account. I will usually tell you why.
If your account is suspended or banned, your subscription is not cancelled or refunded automatically, so please cancel it on tycoonhub.net or in PayPal. If you think I made a mistake, contact me at [email protected] and I will review it.
I may also suspend or close accounts where required by law or to protect other users.
14. Disclaimers
I work hard to keep Tycoon Hub running smoothly, but I provide it as it is and cannot promise it will always be available, error-free or that information shown, such as album data, scans or matches, will always be accurate. I may change, pause or stop features at any time.
I do not control other players and am not responsible for what they say or do, on or off the app.
15. My liability
Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Otherwise, I am not responsible for any loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses, or for losses caused by other players, by Monopoly GO, or by events outside my control. This includes loss of in-game items, progress or accounts.
Where I am liable to you, my total liability is limited to the amount you paid me in the 12 months before the claim, or £50 if you have not paid me anything.
16. Changes
I may update these terms from time to time. If I make significant changes, I will let you know in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Tycoon Hub after that, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, you can stop using the app and delete your account.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
